Chaw’s highly anticipated Canada Tour

|VANCOUVER|THE CENTER — there are likely few things louder than the excited screams of 2000 girls and boys — reverberating under one roof. But that was the overwhelming response Monday night when Gary Chaw took the stage at The Centre to kick off his highly anticipated first ever Canada tour. The screams were piercing as Chaw appeared on stage wearing a sophisticated tailored vest and launched into their anthem, Superwoman. It appears Gary hasn’t lost his itcshy cool pop idol appeal despite his recent brawl with Justin. On Stage, Gary’s energy and enthusiasm was infectious. His back-up dancers magnified the energy with their skilled, over the top moves and theatrics. The dancers did an admirable job of keeping the attention-challenged audience entertained. There were several group hugs and a few melodramatic looks of love shared between Gary and his fans. Highlights of the nearly two hour show included a sentimental version of 黃家駒’s 海闊天空, a raucous encore performance of 背叛. The show wasn’t about just about great singing or dancing. But it was about great entertainment.

And Gary Chaw definitely gave his fans in Vancouver unforgettable ‘super’ experience. Special thanks to Media one and their crew, photographers, choreographers’, lighting crew and last but not least UBC CSA associations for their volunteer work.
